Advocacy In Action Online Training

Access to the full range of contraceptive methods is critical to supporting the overall health and reproductive well-being of people in our country. However, despite broad popularity and use of birth control, not everyone has equitable information about and access to the full range of contraceptive methods-especially people of color, people with low-incomes, and people living in poverty.

Do you want to be an advocate for contraceptive access?

Being an advocate for increased access to contraception and affecting change at the local, state, and national level can ensure that everyone-no matter who they are, where they live, or what their economic status is-has the power to decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child.

Power to Decide and All Access EKY is excited to announce that community members can now learn about advocating for contraceptive access in their communities in our new online training! This interactive training takes 45-60 minutes and includes an overview of barriers to and policy solutions for increasing contraceptive access on a local, state, and national level, case studies from Kentucky, and tools for effective advocacy.

You’ll be able to learn the essentials of advocating for contraceptive access in your own time and in the location of your choosing!
